The Board of Directors is comprised of past student team leaders plus the organization’s faculty advisor. The Board is charged with overseeing all financial decisions of the Spartan Global Development Fund’s 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Additionally, the Board of Directors works closely with student team members to manage the day-to-day operations of the Registered Student Organization at Michigan State. Board members guide the student team on matters such as leadership, choosing field partners, approving applications for microloans, drafting and administration of contracts with field partners and borrowers, and related tasks.
